| The actors Arashi Rikan the 4th
and Arashi Wasaburo the 3rd (Arashi Rikan the
5th) playing the roles of a puppeteer and the
courtesan Umegae - Wasaburo is playing the role in the puppet style and
is "handled" by Rikan - in the scene "Kanzaki Ageya" of the play "Hirakana
Seisuiki" which was performed at the Ichimuraza Theater in may 1883 (print
